Herald of Ages
04:49
|
|||
Lo! See the end of all we know
dancing in time's ebb and flow
Down the brae, fleeing the rise,
nothing but dread in their eyes!
Now break them whole, herald the throne,
herald the times where we are known
Raise a pyre in honour of those
who gave their life to warrior code!
Bards used to sing of an herald of kings
appearing at last to decide who shall win
At the front-line he stands, urging you on
to glory unknown, by dawn he'll be gone
Stand over thee, amongst stars and seas
Never betray the land of the free
Stand over he, who fell to his knees
crying for those who braved destiny
Lo! Ever more will ancestral might
echo with tales of hatred and spite
Hear of falls of empires great
as once more the herald decides our fate!

A Victory Won
05:27
|
|||
We need no praise, no honour so great
we march, for glory and trophies await
Raising our spears, our swords in the air
Leave all behind, no room for despair!
We crossed Rivermarch, the wind as our guide
honour and steadfast in us you confide
Come rain or storm, stand with your kin
our victory song cast on bloodthirsty wind!
For a victory won, dominate the sun
For a bleak, fickle run all enemies undone
No lands shores know not the taste of our blood
no battles unwon, for the Kaiser above!
Bring forth the day, come fire or flood
We live for battle and true Noble’s blood
Gathered in force, remember our name
ride now for glory and eternal fame!
Crest now nightfall, hear the dawn break
See our enemies prideful await
If we must fall, though widows shall grieve
our names fade away but our victory complete!

Aernland Spring
03:53
|
|||
He who shall know what is to be done
with those who have left to darkness and rue,
Villains and foe, devoid of pure
ambitions to rise to glimmers anew
Draw thy blade, and harken abroad,
sharpen the wit to a perfect chord,
for who not knows that no man is true found
'til dawn on these lands of golden eternal sun!
Far away there are throes
of misery, toil and blue;
Fear not for we are blessed and true,
damn the witches of ire and gloom!
Fare thee well, the woes of this age,
destruct a raw and tiresome rage
Gather your hammer, your bow, your rake,
to harvest avast the yield awake!
Drag the fortunes of treasure and blood,
the riches of mountain and river and yew,
forge an empire noble in rule,
and seal the wonder of all - forever more!
Halt now, and draw it out
all the lost, and the ready found
for the end of an age could not stamp us out
nor could the flames of the dark gods
Hey! all the rain is gone
and the dreams of our lord are won
and the shores of our land now devoid and wrung
so we pray to the sun god now!

Hero's Legacy
06:38
|
|||
Sleep little one, your time will come
When we return to the hymns you sung
We'll never know how dreams erode
We'll never know that lonely road
No one can see your miserly tears
Cold and gone, like younger years
No one can free the endless hope
of finding a truth, a place to lay your rest
Watching it all go by,
holding it all inside,
wild I rule...
Welding the storm and fire,
claiming the world's desire,
walls I rue...
I'll have what I want, or horror and doom...
Hey lai, la hey lai
Hey la, ah ah ah
Hey lai, la hey lai
Hey la, ah ah Hey!
We will not fade away,
one last war we shall prevail
as one we fight again
and to you it's war we take
You who dies shall rise again
the gods shall help this final stand
Aernland shan't hold on her own
Our lives proven - our death's command...

Rivermarch
06:54
|
|||
His throne was felled by a traitor's blade,
struck deep by a rival's envy and pain
Cast from home, an exiled thane,
ending a golden age
He fled to the south, over mountain and strait,
stripped of all of his mighty prince ties
oathing to stay, and lie in wait
for a chance to stand and fight!
None have not heard of his timeless grace,
The lord of the Rivermarch
fearsome lord of a master race
An ever glorious heart
Ever we hear of his majesty's grace,
The lord of the Rivermarch
Wise and fair, bereft of heir
confined to history past
A cruel fate, surely - to be left here
under such a foul and woeful tyrant
It is torment, no doubt, for the prince of the riverlands
once vaunted for his purity,
to watch his kingdom fall
Return did he, across the sea
Riding the waves of destiny
Wielding the sword of his family
and gathering men of true heath
His arms reached forth, to conquer north
what was rightfully his to preside
and ruled his lands unchallenged henceforth
until the day that he died!

Stardancer
04:29
|
|||
She rose from the evertide flow
of an ice crystal river
And as the darkness comes, her eternal foe,
her eyes, ablaze with hope
No soul remembers her call
her tears crest with the meteor fall
She waits for a rebel uproar
to dance forever more...
Free from the chains of sin,
held deep, never to be seen again
she hunts light of day,
anything to keep free of the ending fate
held inside of her mind
We flew through the night,
never will we return,
never fear,
the skies remain e'er more
Deep in time, a spirit will rise,
Frail from spite and aeons of ice!
Lost in cold, no battle horn blows
as the sky unfolds, the lightrunner shows
Standing free of the earth, the moon and sea!
The songs of another legend arise!
The folk stood in awe, in fear
Tales so old bring tears to free men all
From the mists of aryan shores
she hears her warrior's homeward calls
The storms of a bygone age
wash the pain away
One day, many years from now
he'll return to his celestian hall
shell join her beloved once more
and no longer dance alone!

Circle of Dawn
05:03
|
|||
A circle of stone, once free to all
the Circle of Dawn where I once did fall
As years turn to dust, dust turns to age
I wander alone, my vast earthen cage
Once I was young, drifting in song
hollow yet whole, my burden lifelong
Some say they've heard my endless sonnet
Aimless my soul, in nature's duet...
Endless I seek escape from thee
Echoes dancing from tree to tree
No mortal ties longer hold sway
As memories of life fade and decay...
Damned I fell down, struck from the realm
venomous in shame, my guilt overwhelms
where flesh once held form, now shadow in pain
I wander alone, my wide open cage
I wander alone, these long empty boughs
fallen and twisted in shades and howls
No one I deem, as worthy to be
Standing amidst my sylvan leaves
As master of leaf, and master of thorn
Protector of all bitter and cold
The stone turns to dust, though spirit remains,
and memories of life fade away...

Towers Will Fall
05:23
|
|||
Once long ago, in times left in stone
Men were not ruled by gold or throne
Yielding to time, a folk has died
leaving behind all hope
An Oak stands atop a temple of all
waiting to hear a heathen call
Withering in time, the tree has died
fallen, ashen and broke
We hold dear, our time is near,
for all to gather devout, to
free us all from this curse of endless doubt
Damned to recall the failing of gods
My howls will be heard through empty fjords
Towers will fall as kings fade halls
till the glorious return of old
Our soul stands alone, a rose amongst thorns
our downfall profound yet nobody mourns
Vanishing in time, the soul has died
under a tyrants yoke
Stand above all
and remember our own
though days' growing old
Stand above all
among ancestral gods
though night keeps going on
into forever and more...

Lightrunner
08:50
|
|||
He travelled the voids of time
Dimensions, colours and dreams
His mind free from mortality
As he ran through the darkness alone, where he
Carved skies and dreamed blue
His realm was light, his eyes burned
He carried suns, and formed worlds
And with a nothing but a thought,
-He could destroy stars!-
He watched his thralls, carefree
As the cities crumbled and fell
He wanders alone through dead worlds
Slowly he cries, memories beginning to fade
He knows he once knew
He knows he ruled the skies
And his heart screams lost in blood seas
Until all he feels inside is hate!
Lightrunner!
Storming through the skies!
Lightrunner!
Will see the crimson light!
once more
As he cries time bends to his might,
His fate will never see him die
Oh Lightrunner...
Has slowly lost all he loved
Lightrunner...
Will one day return to his time, and
Reclaim everything he lost
He will never let it go - run!
He runs with the gods above!
He rules in the void between worlds!
He came from a time when the sky rained blood,
He longs for a chance to escape this world!
Oh, Lightrunner!
Oh, how a dream once divined, inside of I
Flows through the darkness and enflames the sky
I, vast, like the realms of gods and light
fire and ice define my life
Your loneliness unmatched
Your mind so cold...
How long can I hold on?
-Eternity I've spent here,
watching stars die, and rebirth...
This world can't save me!
This world won't stop me....
As energy consumes your mind
A world of dreams comes crashing down
Suns die under your gaze
yet your thirst for more will never end
and as his forms crumble and fall
His violent dreams lay ripped and dead
Now this world will fall with me...
Fall away to Infinity!
I have never been one for long farewells,
I turn my back, and I sleight my hand
I creep into the void from whence I came
I grasp unto the stream of wind and rain
Though life is pain, I strive in vain
Deep into the hollow design of old
the visions I seek they shine like gold
everything I once knew is buried in snow
like the spring growth once known,
or the realms I once owned,
it withers and dies, helpless I roam
The pain I felt deep inside, returns in time
and I watch from the shores alone!
Now, lost, he runs from reality (I scream!)
His dreams, chorus gleam, as his powers flee
And years from now he'll lay down to die
He'll close eyes and sigh, and join your ether sleep - forever!

Fae
04:51
|
|||
A tale as old as days before
the woods abade a foreign law
Of moon and sea, the sylvan night
swept away in pagan might
The younger ones sing
of days gone by
of majesty in mortal ties
they do not know what's left behind
in times that man forgot
La la la-aa ah
Gently sing on bitter winds
La la la-aa ah
Never heard by city kin
When Fae folk ruled
A prideful wane
Through time the tale returns again
That hymn was heard,
when Fae folk ruled
in times that man forgot
Legends tell of those who once saw
A kingdom cold in marble awe
Noble all in vain embold
Gather now, all brethren old
The younger ones sing
of days of yore
of majesty in hollow lore
they do not know what makes folklore
like times that man forgot
